International Radar Masters Programme

Are you interested in becoming an expert in radar?

To address the growing need for skilled engineers and scientists in the challenging fields of Radar and Electronic Defence, a Masters Degree in Engineering (MEng), with specialisation in the field of Radar and Electronic Defence, has been available at the University of Cape Town since the start of 2011. It was established by UCT and the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), in conjunction with the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST).

CASPER/HPSPSA2016 Conference

This year the rrsg is involved in hosting the Collaboration for Astronomy Signal Processing and Electronics Research (CASPER) Workshop 2016 which is Co-located with the High-performance Signal and Data Processing (HPSPSA) conference. This is running from 25-29 January 2016. The conference brings together researchers who will be presenting and discussing novel techniques, cutting-edge research and technologies related to high performance computing and radio astronomy processing technologies. Presentations will cover both techniques and applications, and there are opportunities to be part of round table dicussions as well as tutorials and site visits to local industry where some of these techniques are being developed and applied.
